Topic: There Is A Word For Your New Season
Scripture Reading: Genesis 13:10-18
In our walk with God and pursuit of purpose, there are different experiences and provisions that God brings us into. These experiences are regulated by seasons. There is a unique experience for every season. Experiencing a new season ordained by God begins with a new perspective; a shift initiated by a Word from God. Our Father changes times and seasons by sending a Word that will first shift your perspective.
Peter had a new experience of walking on water because he received a Word from Jesus: “Come!” Moses received a Word at the place of the burning bush and his life was never the same. Apostle Paul received a Word on the way to Damascus that changed him from a persecutor of the church to a missionary of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And in our anchor text, we see Abraham embrace a Word that shows him the land his descendants would inherit.

How can you tell if God has ushered you into a new season? Everything around you may look the same at the beginning. But you will see differently because there is a Word from God that has changed your perspective. A new perspective generates new thoughts, which birth new actions to produce a new harvest. It is a new season for you, and God is sending a word to change your perspective. Be alert! Pay attention because God is speaking to you.
Prayer: Father, flood my mind with the light of Your Word so I can experience all that You have given me.
