Topic: Let The Word Frame Your Reality
Scripture: Genesis 3:6-11
When Adam hid from God because of his nakedness, God asked him, “Who told you that you were naked?” Where did you get the perception that has changed your reality? The man who was previously confident to bask in the glory of God is now hiding because he has embraced a distorted reality created by following a different voice. It has been a constant theme that, when God appears to a man, the man has a reality that is different from what God is revealing.
We allow the wrong people to determine our value and the limits of our abilities. When David was preparing to face Goliath, his brother Eliab tried to distort his faith by labeling it as pride. Thankfully, David ignored his words. There are all kinds of voices in the world, and they create false realities that alter our ability to embrace what God has said about us. Our dominion comes from hearing God’s voice and perceiving a reality based on what He says about us. When the Word frames your reality, you don’t accept a contrary opinion.

Don’t hide from the glory God has for you. Embrace new levels of grace, from a life of true fellowship; live a life of divine leadership and influence because that is what you were created for. Today, let the Word of God create a new perception and reality for you. You are God’s masterpiece, and you have been created for good works. You don’t need to hide anymore because Christ has clothed you in righteousness. You are God’s chosen and this is your season.
Prayer: Father, I lay aside every perception that is contrary to Your Word. I embrace a new reality by the revelation of Your will for my life.
