Topic: Stand Firm In Your Victory
Scripture: Numbers 23:8-26
Balak, king of Moab, was afraid of Israel and the progress they were making, so he hired Balaam to place a curse (a spiritual limitation or disadvantage) on Israel. Balaam would soon realize that it is impossible to curse the ones whom God has blessed. It is interesting to note, though, how Balak consistently tries to convince Balaam to find a way. That is how the enemy operates; always trying to find a way even when he knows he has been defeated.
If it was impossible to curse Israel in the old covenant, then there is no way a curse can be placed on one who has been redeemed by Christ, for there is none greater than Him. What we have received is the power to break curses and limitations over the lives of people and to introduce them to the abundant life in Christ. We are not victims. We are overcomers.

Just like Balak, the enemy will always try to resist the advancement of God’s people. He will attempt to manipulate you into doubting who you are in Christ and the victory you have received. But you must stand firm in your liberty. If you belong to God, then you can resist the devil and he will flee. You are blessed and empowered by God, and nothing can change this truth.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for the blessing I have received through Christ. I overcome every resistance and I flourish by Your power at work in me.
