Topic: The Report Of The Lord

Scripture: Genesis 18:1-15

The medical report concerning Sarah was that it was impossible for her to conceive. She was well into menopause so there were no eggs being produced. And yet, God came with a superior report: “About this time next year, Sarah will have a son.” At the end of the day, Sarah gave birth to Isaac, just as God had said.

In 2 Kings 7, Samaria was experiencing famine. The financial/economic report was that there was going to be great suffering and hunger. The report of the Lord said, “Tomorrow, there will be abundance of food.” The economic analyst mocked the report of the Lord, claiming that even if the windows of heaven were opened, abundance was impossible. At the end of the day, the report of the Lord came to pass.

There are all kinds of reports concerning your life. People have made verdicts about you and have set limits about what is possible. But there is a report of the Lord concerning you. It is a report of restoration, healing, and abundance. It is a report of eternal life. Today, I urge you to believe the report of the Lord concerning you. Let God be true and everyone else, a liar.

Prayer: Father, I believe Your report concerning my life, and by faith, I receive all that You have made available to me.
