Topic: A Divine Supply
Scripture: 1 Kings 17:1-16
For every assignment God gives, He also prepares a supply; a supply of resources, helpers, encouragement, strength, etc. Our job is not to focus on the supply or the vessels He uses, but on the Supplier, because there are seasons where God moves from what He had previously given you as help. If you are focused on the provisions in a previous season, you will be frustrated when there is a shift you didn’t perceive.
Elijah had enjoyed supernatural supply at the brook, Cherith. There was famine but Elijah had water from the brook, and ravens brought him food every morning and evening. This continued until the brook dried up because of the drought. God was shifting the supply from the brook to a widow in Zarephath, and Elijah had to be obedient enough to move from what was good in a past season in order to embrace the supply for this season. He moved to Zarephath, met the widow, and even when she seemed an unlikely helper, Elijah knew that she was the one God had appointed for the season.

Divine supply is reserved for those who focus on God as their source, rather than the channels He chooses to use. Show appreciation to those around you, thank people for their help, and be grateful for every contribution to your journey. But never take your eyes off God. Everything can change, but He remains the same. This year, there is divine supply for those whose eyes are fixed on Jesus.
Prayer: Father, my eyes are fixed on You. Lead me to the divine supply prepared for this season of my life.
