Topic: Recognize Your Season Of Shift

Scripture: Mark 10:46-52

Every season has a purpose. Very often, a new season can be a progression from the previous one. But there are certain seasons that bring a total shift into new levels and experiences. These are the seasons that push you from the back of the line to the forefront. They move you from darkness and obscurity into the limelight. But you must be able to recognize when it is time to shift, and embrace it through acts of faith.

Bartimaeus could have been just a footnote, an insignificant spectator as Jesus made his way to Jerusalem through Jericho. Everyone was excited being on the sidelines as they followed Jesus. But Bartimaeus saw an opportunity. Finally, he could stop being the blind beggar and rather be the miracle people talk about. It was his time for restoration. He shouted to get the attention of Jesus. Even when people tried to silence him, he shouted even more until Jesus gave him attention.

His act of faith brought him before Jesus to receive a change of story and a testimony that will never be forgotten. Are you feeling the nudge of the Spirit, pushing you towards the frontline? It is a season of glory, and you have been chosen to be in the thick of the action. You can be the difference maker the world needs. You can be the reason someone finally accepts Christ or the inspiration that keeps people from giving up. Shake off the distractions and embrace the story of glory marked for you by your Father. No more hiding. It’s time to show up!

Prayer: Father, I embrace every assignment and opportunity You have for me in this season. By Your strength, I shift into new levels and territories.
