Topic: Hear His Voice, Not The Noise
Scripture: 1 Samuel 30:1-19
When you read 1 Samuel 30:6, you see David in two different states. That one verse has David in a state of despair, and the same David in a state of encouragement over the same issue. He was in despair when he listened to the people because they wanted to stone him. But he was encouraged when he spoke to God because he was assured of restoration.
The situation hadn’t changed and yet David moved from despair to hope and courage because he understood that one word from God was enough to change the story. When he asked God for direction, God said, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”

There are situations that bother us and weaken our faith because we are paying attention to the noise. We are giving room to fear and worry because we have not taken time to hear God’s voice. We are busy analysing and listening to all the wrong people. But today, you can step into strength and courage by giving attention to God’s voice. Regardless of what the enemy has stolen and destroyed, God is giving you strength to pursue, overtake, and recover all.
Prayer: Father, my ears are inclined to Your voice. By Your word, I receive strength to overcome in all situations.
