Topic: When The Time Is Right
Scripture: Luke 1:5-20
The fulfilment of God’s will is always tied to a specific time. Nothing is random or chaotic. Whatever God will do in your life will be aligned to His overarching plan for His people in that time. No blessing is in isolation. Every calling, ministry, breakthrough and testimony is connected to the agenda of the Kingdom in that season.
When the angel appeared to Zechariah, he confirmed that Zechariah and Elizabeth had been praying for a child. The reason the answer didn’t come sooner was because the birth of their child had to be in sync with the birth of the Messiah. John had to be born in the same generation as Jesus for his purpose to be fulfilled. Therefore, what looked like delay in the eyes of men was actually an alignment with the timing of heaven. In their old age, the answer to their prayer arrived in accordance with the divine plan.
If you are called to live a life of purpose, to live for God in your generation, you must submit yourself to His timing. Everything about you must be for His glory, at the appointed time. Don’t let pop culture push you into anxiety and desperation. Let God order your steps to receive every blessing at the appointed time. There will be no delay or denial. When the time is right, God will make it happen for those aligned to His will.
Prayer: Father, I trust in You and in Your timing concerning the issues of my life. Let it be to me according to Your will.
