Topic: An Unconditional Love
Scripture: Romans 8:35-39
When Jesus took on the form of man to come on earth and pay for our sins, he already factored in the worst and most horrible sinners. There are no exceptions to the gift of salvation. No matter how dark, no matter how evil, there is salvation for us through his sacrifice on the cross. And because of his blood, we have access to a better covenant. Even when we falter, his love is there to guide us back on track.
But there is another angle to His unconditional love. It is not just there in the good seasons of our lives or in the moment of salvation. This love is still present when we are dealing with storms. It is there when life seems tough, and you are in a difficult season that seems to have no end. In the pain of betrayal and the pressure of scarcity, His love is still there.
The presence of trouble does not signify the absence of His love. He will be with you in the storm, through the fire, in the confusion. He will give you faith to overcome, and He will give you patience to endure. There is no season of your life where the love of God is not being lavishly poured out on you. Nothing can separate you from His love. So, in every situation, in every season, thank Him for His love.
Prayer: Father, I acknowledge that there is nothing that can separate me from Your love. Thank You for being with me always.
