Topic: The Best Is Yet To Come

Scripture: Haggai 2:2-9

God is an infinite source. There is no end to His supply; there is no lack in His Kingdom. He is the river that never runs dry, the eternal fountain of life. No matter what He supplies, there is always more in store.

In John 2, at the wedding in Cana, the governor said, men give their best and eventually, the quality reduces. But God reserves the best for last. Meaning, no matter how glorious a season is, God has something better ahead. Our fellowship with Him is progressive. There is always more in God.

In Haggai 2, the people of Israel had come to the point where it seemed the past was better than the present. They had experienced a level of glory, and they thought that was all God had for them. But God emphatically stated that the glory ahead is greater than what has been seen. You may have had some good days in the past. But hear the word of the Lord: your best days are ahead of you. You are going from strength to strength, from glory to glory. It is not a time for regret. Be expectant because God is not done with you.

Prayer: Father, I believe there are greater things ahead of me. I am confident that You will order my steps into all that You have prepared for me.
