Topic: He Is Able
Scripture: Daniel 2:20-30
“Are you able?” That was a question from King Nebuchadnezzar to Daniel. The king had placed the most ridiculous demand on the wisemen and astrologers in his kingdom. He had a dream, and he wanted them to tell him the dream and give the interpretation. It was an impossible situation. When Daniel stepped up, the king questioned his ability, knowing very well, the difficulty of the demand.
Like Daniel, you may be facing your own impossible situations; challenges that seem unsolvable, making you feel out of your depth. Life would have been much easier if we only had to face things we could handle. But alas, there are times when you would be faced with this question, “Are you able?”
The answer Daniel gave to the king can be paraphrased as, “God is able!” When you come to a point where your strength is not enough, know that the strength of God is available to you. He is able, and He will do it through you. There are greater realities you can experience if only you choose to partner with God. With Him, you always overcome because no matter the challenge, He is able!
Prayer: Father, I know You are able to handle everything that comes my way. Let Your power be seen through me, and let Your name be glorified.
