Topic: God Wants Your Little
Scripture: 2 Kings 7:1-20
When God shows up in His glory for the sake of His people, He does it in a big way. He has the ability to exceed the wildest imaginations of men, just to bless us. When Samaria needed a miracle, Elisha prophesied a 24-hour turnaround. It sounded so ridiculous that the king’s advisor mocked him. But he had no idea what our God can do. Your expectation does not intimidate God because He is able to do far more than you can imagine.
But as much as I would want to go on and on about God’s ability, we must realize that we have been given the key to initiate God’s miracles. For Samaria, the 24-hour turnaround needed four lepers taking steps towards the enemy camp. With every step they took, God amplified their sound to the enemy, making it sound like a mighty army was coming. By the time the lepers got to the camp, the enemy had fled. God used the muted sounds of their leprous feet to scare mighty men of war and to bring abundance to a nation.
God wants your little in order to display His greatness. It may be a little lunch of five loaves and two fish, it may be a business idea, it may be a step to take towards the fulfilment of destiny. The greatness of God is released through our acts of faith, no matter how small. It is a season of glory. It is a season of acts of faith. Make your move.
