Topic: Contradiction or Consecration?

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 1:26-31

Jesus, the King of kings, was born in a manger and raised by a carpenter. Joseph, the prime minister, came to Egypt as a slave and later became a prisoner. Moses, the man to declare Israel’s freedom, was a stammerer. Abraham, the father of many nations, was childless for many years. Esther, the great queen of Persia was once a poor orphan being raised by her cousin.

Everyone God chooses for a divine purpose will go through a season where their lives look like a contradiction of God’s promise. They will go through loneliness when the promise is about multitudes, hunger when the promise is about abundance, and adversity when the promise is about Glory. It is not a contradiction. It is consecration.

Consecration is a separation of a vessel for divine purpose. The contradictions are simply a separation and stripping away of any earthly or man-made glory. Nothing can compete with God in your life. The story does not end with the contradictions. For those God calls, He justifies, and then He glorifies. For every season that looked like a contradiction, there is a greater season of glory that will make up for all that was lost. For every contradiction you have faced, your season of glory is here.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for separating me for Your use. Today, I step into the glory You have ordained for me.
