Topic: Your Relevance Is Found In God
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:1-12
There is a yearning in the heart of mankind for relevance. We want to feel valued, to know that our contributions matter, to know that our existence is not meaningless. In our world today, people can do anything and say anything for attention, to be in the spotlight. But as a child of God, your relevance does not come from the opinions of men but by revelation from God. It is your Maker that determines your value and relevance.
There may be seasons in your life where men will not see your worth, but God knows how to magnify His people. Just to lift up Joseph, He gave a dream to Pharoah that nobody in all of Egypt could explain except this young prisoner. He allowed a giant called Goliath to appear so that Israel can finally recognize David. And after the ascension of Jesus, God gave us His Spirit and special gifts to effect change on earth, so that His glory will be seen in us.
We don’t need to follow the world in order to know our value. What God has placed in you is so valuable that you cannot be ignored. Stay with God because soon enough, men will come looking for you. You matter!
Prayer: Father, my worth and value is found in You. Thank you for making me a blessing and a wonder to my world. I cannot be ignored.
