Topic: Your Reality Is Your Choice

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:7-16

There were 12 men sent as spies to see what God had promised. Ten of them, after seeing the land, said, “We are doomed. We are grasshoppers and that is how they see us. This is an impossible task.” The other two said, “Wow, we are favoured. God will give us the land.” The ten men didn’t talk about God. They spoke of the size of the giants and how small they were before them. They agreed the land was good, but the enemy was too great. Caleb and Joshua did not talk about the giants. They talked about the favour of God that will give them the land. At the end, they all experienced the reality they created through their consciousness.

Consciousness is the state of being aware and responsive. There are divine realities available to you, if only you can be aware and responsive. Jacob, at a point in his life was sleeping on a stone; at that same instance, he had a Divine visitation with angels all around him. But he was not aware of that reality until it was over. Hagar was close to a well that her child could drink from, but because she wasn’t aware, she thought she was in crisis. The brother of the prodigal son was not conscious of his rights, so he became jealous of his brother. What are you conscious of? What do you perceive about 2026?

Your reality is not based on what is happening physically but rather, what you’re conscious of. One assignment of the Holy Spirit is to make you conscious of what God has given you. The crisis and the struggle you may be facing is a false reality because you’re not conscious of the blessings available. A life that is led by the Spirit and conscious of God’s presence – that is your divine reality! As you create your vision and make plans for the year, be conscious of the greatness of your God, not the size of your problems.

Prayer: Father, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit to always be conscious of Your goodness in my life.
