Topic: Your Best Days Are Ahead

Scripture Reading: Numbers 11:1-6

For the love of cucumber and garlic, Israel complained and wept bitterly about the journey God was leading them on. This was their confession: the days behind were better than the days ahead. And because of this, they despised the miracles and favour they were experiencing.

What they didn’t realize was that God was using the pressure in the present to equip them for the weight of glory ahead. Yes, glory is a weight that can only be borne by those who have been equipped and tested. Because they didn’t know that, every time they faced pressure, they looked back at their past with regret, and they eventually missed out on experiencing the glory ahead.

Any pressure you may be facing is not a reflection of your past but a tool for the glory ahead. Like Jesus, we must keep our eyes on the joy ahead. Our confession must agree with God’s purpose, that the days ahead are far more glorious than what we have known. Thank God for the “garlic and cucumber” of the past, but you are about to enter your best days.

Prayer: Father, I align to Your will for me, and I declare that my best days are ahead of me.
