Topic: The Power Of A Daily Routine
Scripture Reading: 1 Timothy 4:13-16
Where is your life headed? What will be your legacy? The answer to that is not found in a bible verse or prophetic declaration. The answer lies in your daily routine. The scriptures and prophecies tell you what God wants for you. Your routine reveals what you will actually get.
God told Joshua that He was going to be with him just as he was with Moses. But for Joshua to succeed, God instructed him to meditate on the Word daily (Joshua 1:8). Moses beheld the glory of God because he was consistently communing with God. The apostles had great impact because they were consistently focused on the Word and prayer. Judas Iscariot easily betrayed Jesus because he was consistently stealing money.
God’s glory will only be seen in those whose routine is focused on Him. A routine that is focused on needs and comfort will have no impact in the Kingdom. Those who are too busy for Godly routines will be too carnal for eternal rewards. But like Paul told Timothy, if you give yourself wholly to a Godly routine of prayer, worship, and meditation, your profiting will be seen by all.
Meditation: Do you have a daily routine that is focused on God? There is grace available to help you build consistency with God.
