Topic: The Miracle In Your Little
Scripture Reading: John 6:1-14
There are times when life will present you with a challenge that is beyond your natural capacity to handle. No matter how well you plan or how careful you try to be, challenges will come. The good news is, God still works miracles. The power of God at work in us is capable of overcoming any challenge, but we must partner with God in working out the miracle by trusting Him with our little.
The disciples had a challenge of feeding a huge crowd without having any food or money. The men in the crowd numbered five thousand, and there were women and children as well, meaning a lot of food was needed. But Jesus knew what to do. He asked for what they had, and though it was little, it was all that was needed for the miracle. Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish, and the huge crowd ate to their full and had twelve baskets leftover.
Everything you need for that miracle is within your reach. It may look little or insignificant, but in God’s Kingdom, great things come from little seeds that are sown in faith. Don’t despise what you carry. There is a miracle in your little.
