Topic: The Good Fight Of Faith
Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:12
There is this expression: bringing a knife to a gunfight. It describes a person trying to confront an opponent or tackle a problem with inferior weapons. Many people of God are approaching the battles and contentions of life with carnal weapons.
There is a false belief that if we attain all the incredible successes and unlock the financial doors, we will be free from life’s problems. There is a place for success and financial abundance, but they cannot guarantee eternal rewards or defeat the enemy. You cannot defeat that which is spiritual using carnal and material weapons.
In order to overcome, we need to fight the good fight of faith. Faith is your defence against fiery darts, and faith is your offensive weapon that allows you to push back the enemy and take territories. When you go through life, responding to every challenge with your confidence in God’s word, you silence the enemy. Your faith overcomes, and your faith obtains eternal rewards. In the fight of faith, you’re already the conqueror. Don’t sleep on your faith. Fight with it.
Prayer: Father, I choose to operate in faith in order to overcome the enemy and to exercise dominion on earth.
