Topic: Remain Confident

Scripture: Hebrews 10:35-38

In order to experience the fulfillment of God’s Word in our lives, we must trust in the wisdom of His plan, and in His ability to bring it to pass regardless of contrary circumstances. We must be confident enough to declare that, “No matter what is happening, what God has said will come to pass.” But it can be challenging, sometimes, to hold on to that confession.

In the parable of the sower, Jesus described the seed that fell on rocky soil as those who receive God’s word/promises with joy. At that moment, it is easy to be confident and excited. But when challenges arise because of the Word they carry, they give up. They don’t have enough depth in God to trust Him when challenges arise. Their confidence in God is determined by the circumstances of their lives. But the confidence we need is one that stays strong in the face of opposition. That is what we call faith!

There is a word declared by God concerning you, a revelation of His plan and purpose for your life. Because of this word, there will be challenges and contention from the enemy. Your duty is to hold on to that Word, regardless of what comes against you. There is a reward for your endurance. Your faith is not in vain. You can stand your ground against any challenge, knowing that as long as you don’t give up, you will surely see the glory of God in your life.

Prayer: Father, my confidence is in You. You have the final say, so I trust You at all times.
