Topic: Let There Be Light
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:3-6
In Genesis 1:3, we see how our Father commands light to shine in the midst of a dark and chaotic world. The beauty of creation began with the introduction of light. This is not just true for the planetary body called Earth. It is true for your life as well. The expression of God’s glory in your life begins with the introduction of light into your spirit by the Word. The Word has life, and when that life is revealed by the Holy Spirit, it becomes light in your life. (John 1:4)
Satan, the god of this world, blinds the minds of people to keep them from receiving the light of God. He operates in darkness, emptiness, ignorance, chaos, and doubt. Any area of a Believer that has not yet experienced God’s light is vulnerable to the enemy’s lies.
In order to eradicate any form of darkness, we must partner with God to declare, “Let there be light.” For every contention, confusion, fear, and emptiness, there is a Word of God with light to drive out darkness. In silence, the darkness persists, but there is a stirring of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of God’s people to declare light into every darkness. Don’t be silent. It is time to declare, “Let there be light!”
Prayer: Father, I receive Your light into every area of my life. And as Your light comes in, every darkness is expelled.
