Topic: Let The Holy Spirit Lead
Scripture: Romans 8:5-16
Daily, we are forced to take decisions and make choices, some of which have great/grave implications and consequences that could either bring us closer or take us further away from God’s will for our lives. Think about the decision taken by Ananias and Sapphira to deceive the church about the sale of their land. It did not end well for them. Then we have people like Ruth, who was inspired to follow and commit to Naomi, no matter the cost. And what a glorious decision that turned out to be!
Thankfully, God has not left us to figure things out on our own. He has given us His Spirit to guide us in every area of life. Every child of God has access to divine direction. Being led by God is more than receiving a prophecy or having a vision. These are indeed ways God can use; but the principal way God leads us all is through His Spirit within us. The Holy Spirit communicates with your human spirit.

In order to be in tune with God’s instructions to you, it is important to keep your spirit man awake and active by praying in the Spirit as often as possible. And also study God’s word because He will not give you an instruction that contradicts His word. The more sensitive your spirit, the easier it is to follow God’s leading. If you are a child of God, there is a joinery of your spirit with the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:16). God is within you, and He is speaking to you. Let Him lead.
Prayer: Father, I submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit. In every area of my life, let Your will be done!
