Topic: It Will End In Praise
Scripture: Acts 27:21-25
Paul was sailing to Rome to appear before Caesar. There were 276 people on the ship, made up of both crew and passengers. On the way, they encountered a storm that forced them to throw out their cargo just to stay afloat. It was such a frightening experience for everyone. All this pain and loss could have been avoided if the captain had listened to Paul’s advice not to set sail when they did.
But in the middle of the journey, when everyone was in a state of despair, Paul received strength through a divine encounter. An angel stood by him to assure him that the journey would be successful, and despite the rough start, it was going to end well. Having heard that, Paul stood up and encouraged everyone to cheer up because he was confident that God’s word to him would come to pass. Indeed, they all arrived safely against all odds.
It’s the middle of the year. There may be some storms and mistakes that are trying to taint the beauty and glory designed for you. But there is assurance from your Father today. He is with you, and He will fulfil every Word He has spoken concerning you. Be encouraged, for it will be to you just as God has declared. This year will end in praise.
Prayer: Father, I trust You. I believe Your Word. And I know that all things will work together for my good.
