Topic: It Is God At Work
Scripture: Genesis 45:1-8
“It was not you that sent me here, but God!” This was what Joseph said as he revealed himself to his brothers as the ruler of Egypt. It had been 22 years since his brothers attempted to kill him and eventually ended up selling him as a slave. And yet, rather than see their wickedness, Joseph saw the hand of God at work. It was not a story of betrayal but a story of divine direction and positioning.
In every season of your life, what you acknowledge determines your posture and shapes your reality. If all you see is the behaviour of people and the challenges you face, you reduce a divine season to an emotional experience. Joseph could have gone into depression, lost his self-esteem, and had trust issues if he focused on his brothers and Potiphar’s wife. But what he was going through was bigger than the wickedness of men.
You are in a divine season. As we go through the final days of 2025, you must be intentional about the things you allow to shape your reality. You can see men at work. You can see difficult situations at work. But the best of the season comes to those who can see God at work, even in the midst of the challenges. You are not here by accident. You are not here by chance or circumstance. You have been positioned in this season of your life because God is at work in you. Let Him be your focus, and you will see His glory.
Prayer: Father, I acknowledge You as the Author and Perfector of my story. You are at work in me, and everything in this season will reveal Your perfect plan for my life.
