Topic: He Is More Than Enough

Scripture: John 6:1-14

When Jesus asked Philip how they could feed the multitude, he was not searching for a solution, because the scripture indicates that Jesus already knew what he would do (John 6:6). The question to Philip and the rest of the disciples was to provoke their faith. It felt like Jesus was giving them an impossible task by asking them to feed a multitude without resources, but He was actually setting the stage for the miracle of feeding 5,000 men along with women and children with 5 loaves and 2 fish.

The answer to the impossible situation was not in finding resources but rather acknowledging the presence of the One who is more than enough. What was meant for a little boy ended up feeding a multitude because it was placed in the hands of Jesus.

Are you dealing with certain questions of life that seem beyond your natural ability? You carry the presence of the One who is more than enough. Place all you have in His hands and watch Him glorify Himself in your life. Know this, that no matter the demand life places on you, your God is more than enough.

Prayer: Father, You are my answer to every question of life. I thank You in all things because You are more than enough.
