Topic: God Is Faithful
Scripture: Genesis 21:1-8
The faithfulness of God is not conditional or dependent on external factors. When God speaks, His Word carries the power for fulfilment, no matter the situation. A man can make a promise and fail to fulfil it because his words are subject to other factors. But when it comes to our God, all things are subject to His Word.
Because God made a promise, a 90 year-old woman who was in menopause and had no business carrying a child, got pregnant and delivered safely. It made no sense biologically, but because God said it, there was a performance. It sounded so ridiculous when God said it, Sarah laughed in unbelief. When the child was born, Sarah laughed again, this time, in awe of God’s faithfulness.
Has God spoken a word concerning your life? Know that the situation you are faced with cannot resist the power of God’s word. He is faithful. It is impossible for His word to fail. Today, let your confidence be in the faithfulness of God. He will fulfil every word He has spoken, no matter how impossible it seems.
Prayer: Father, You are faithful. My trust is in You, and I am confident that Your Word concerning my life will come to pass.
