Topic: God Is Always In Control
Scripture Reading: John 19:1-11
There are certain seasons where it seems like everything is going against you, or a particular storm is trying to derail everything you have built. In these moments, there is a temptation to be afraid because you don’t have any control. But, the good news is, God is always in control. In fact, the only reason why that storm came was because God knew it will work out His glory in your life.
As Jesus stood before Pilate in a purple robe, with a crown of thorns on his head, with blood dripping from all the bruises, he still knew that his Father was in control. He told Pilate, “You only have power over me because it was given to you from above.” Joseph said something similar to his brothers who sold him to slavery. He said, “You thought of evil against me, but God meant it for good. He sent me here for a reason.”
God is in control of all seasons. If you are dealing with a turbulent season, there is an announcement from the Throne of Heaven. God is shifting you into a season of abundance. Everything you laboured for is coming to you in full. For every pain and suffering, God will restore you and bring you into your place of fulfilment. Know this, God is always in control, no matter what the season looks like.
Prayer: Father, I know You are in control of every situation and season of my life. I praise You in advance for my restoration and abundance.
