Topic: God Has Turned It For Your Good
Scripture Reading: Romans 8:28-39
One of the most amazing benefits of being a child of God is the way our Father can turn our worst situations into the most beautiful testimonies. It is a constant theme in the Scriptures because time and time again, when it seems all over for God’s people, He steps in.
He has stepped in for barren women like Hannah, for prisoners like Joseph, and harlots like Rahab. He has glorified Himself using the stinking body of Lazarus, and the fear of scarcity at the wedding in Cana. He has humbled proud kings and tamed wild beasts for the sake of His people. That is the nature of our God.
For that person who is dealing with a storm, let this be a reminder; God is still turning situations around. Let Him have the mess, the pain, and the struggle. And watch Him bring out a beautiful testimony for you.
Prayer: My Father, I thank you for the beautiful testimony You are working out for me.
