Topic: Experiencing Divine Exemption
Scripture: Exodus 8:20-32
There are times when we may be expecting the hand of God to move in a particular way, and yet, without knowing it, God is already showing you favour in a different way. You may be so focused on receiving a particular miracle, and yet you can’t recognize that you are in the middle of another miracle. That is why we give God thanks in everything, because even in your waiting period, there is still a daily supply of God’s power towards you.
In Exodus 8, the children of Israel were still waiting for their deliverance from Egypt, and yet, they had been ushered into a new dimension of favour. They were about to enjoy divine exemption from the plagues happening in Egypt. God sent a swarm of flies all over Egypt, but Israel was spared. The cattle in Egypt died, but the cattle of the Israelites were spared. There was darkness all over Egypt, but Goshen, where Israel stayed, had light. They were still in bondage, but miracles were happening all around them.
You may be at a point where you are yet to see the fulfilment of a particular word. But God is still moving and working miracles around you. One of the miracles in this season is divine exemption. You will not fall victim to any evil scheme or calamity. The Lord of Hosts is with you, and He will keep you in all your ways. While you wait, lift up your eyes and see the miracles taking place in your favour. You have been divinely exempted from all evil.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your power at work in my life. I may not see it all, but You are working things out for me.
