Topic: Enforce The Prophetic Word
Scripture: Joshua 18:1-10
2 Peter 1:4 tells us that God has given us great and precious promises to enable us to experience the divine nature. The purpose of a prophetic word is to give us insight into God’s promises for our lives, according to His Word. It may come through a minister of God, or in your personal devotion, through a vision/dream, or in a time of worship. In whatever way it comes, it stirs up faith in you concerning God’s plan for your life. You are convinced that God will show up.
But there is a part you play because God is in partnership with you. What He gives you through His Word, you must possess through acts of faith. God had promised to give Israel a land of milk and honey. In Joshua 18, years after they had crossed Jordan, only 5 out of 12 tribes had possessed their land. It was not God’s responsibility to make them possess the rest of the land. It was their responsibility to enforce what God had already spoken.

As we navigate the 11th month of the year, you must have the posture of an enforcer. We must not be slack concerning the promises of God. Through prayer and acts of faith, lay hold on God’s Word and take possession of every blessing available to you. There is a thief who steals, kills, and destroys. But you must be the enforcer to obtain the abundant life Jesus has made available to you.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your good plans for my life. By faith, I enforce Your will, and I take possession of every blessing in Jesus’ name.
