Topic: Don’t Hesitate
Scripture: Acts 10:9-20
Very often, destiny-defining seasons are not initiated by fanfare and public endorsement. Your breakthrough moment does not always come when you’re most confident or spiritually sensitive. God works in us according to His will, not according to our confidence or feelings. And for someone reading this, you have come to that moment of truth, even though it may not feel like it.
In Acts 10, Peter was about to be used by God for one of the most significant moments in the early church; a moment that redefined Christianity. The Gentiles were going to receive salvation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, starting from the house of Cornelius. And yet, the man God was about to use was unsure of the vision and felt conflicted with his tradition. But God told him, “Go with these men, without hesitation.” God was not going to allow the emotions of Peter to interfere with the assignment because too many lives were depending on his obedience.
You may have questions and uncertainty about what lies ahead. But you cannot allow your feelings to define your season. You are not here by accident, and your current position is not by coincidence. There is a call in the Spirit for God’s people to arise and respond without hesitation. If you can believe, regardless of the uncertainty, you will see the glory of God.
Prayer: Father, I respond to the instructions of Your Spirit. No matter how I feel, I say yes to Your will, without hesitation.
