Topic: Beware Of Dogs
Scripture: Philippians 3:2-15
“Did God really say . . .” That was the strategy that the enemy used against man in the Garden of Eden. With his intelligence, he convinced man to embrace a knowledge that was against the will of God, causing man to lose his place of authority.
We are living in times of great deception and diluted truth. There are people who claim to speak God’s Word but are agents of hell sent to pollute the truth and to deceive the ignorant. Until Christ comes, we have a duty to protect ourselves from false preachers and strange gospels, as the Spirit of God leads us into truth. We must beware of dogs. The term *dogs* here, according to the Scriptures, is a metaphor used for those who do not belong to the Kingdom of God.
The best way to protect yourself from falsehood is to be filled with the truth. We must know God personally and intimately, and this comes by studying the Word as the Holy Spirit gives you understanding, and being fed by those who preach truth and not strange gospels. Your destiny is precious. Beware of dogs.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit who leads me into all truth. I receive understanding of Your will and I will not be deceived by the enemy.
